Hi there, I'm new to Google Maps forum, but was wondering if I could get some pointers on whether I can make some changes to a Google Map. In particular, I want to add a solid background colour behind the scaling bar, Google logo, copyright info and satellite/map/hybrid button bar. I am not looking to hide the copyright information - I fully support having it there. However, I really dislike how messy the map looks with those components sitting on top of the map. I'd like to create a series of border areas with a solid colour to hold those pieces.
