Fair enough. Here's a version that modifies the Google homepage. In IE7 with Trixie (the platform I'm focused on for now) it adds the link, which creates a popup window and spits out 2 alerts. Then, the browser freezes. I changed the second alert box to display GBrowserIsCompatible(), since that still confirms that the API files have been loaded and it's more obvious what the correct output should be.
Strangely, I tested the same script in Firefox/Greasemonkey and the link is added, but it won't create the popup. I'm not sure why this is the case-- but it doesn't affect me directly. I just hope it doesn't hinder you all from giving me a little advice. http://groups.google.com/group/google-maps-api/web/AddLinkForMapInPopupWindow2.user.js --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
