Hello all,

Building a web app, one of the aspects of which is pulling in
addresses from different feeds and APIs, comparing and compiling the
data, then displaying it all.

But I have a problem. Some of the feeds have the same locations in
them, but the addresses are written differently. Here's the issue:
when converting to geocode and comparing the results, the two
variations are more than 2km apart. But if either one is looked up
directly by address on google maps, they are the exact same location.

To be specific, the two variations of the address are:

2700 N. Vermont Ave
LOS ANGELES, CA 90027

2700 North Vermont (Griffith Park)
LOS ANGELES, CA 90027

When viewed as a complete address, totally the same spot. But when
geocoded, suddenly they're 2km apart...

Help!
