I am in the midsts of developing a commercial desktop application that
wishes to integrate Google Maps to the extent that it is going to
require a subscription to the Premier edition of Google Maps
JavaScript API. How does the Google Maps Premier 'Client ID' code work
when utilizing the Premier Maps API to generate HTML pages (which then
utilize the JavaScript API) that will only ever exist and be accessed
off of a user's own hard disk or local area network?

The Google Maps API Premier Developer's Guide [http://code.google.com/
apis/maps/documentation/premier/guide.html] implies that the Client ID
may be tied to a set of domain name (or IP's I'm assuming) that are
permitted to use the Permier API. So, how would the Client ID work, or
cease to work, if being used in a local-only desktop environment?
