Rossko's responce was almost certainly not 'canned' - its specific to your question. It's true a complete question might not need a link, but long experience shows a link is a very consise way of providing all (or most) the information for a question. For example in your case what is the 'color attribute' you talk of? We dont actually know... We can only give our best guess on the information available... I guess you mean <color> tag in <IconStyle> ? If so, then no it doesnt work in Google Maps API (as Rossko said the API doesnt manipulate iamges - its beyond most browsers) But that applies a colour cast to the image, having a white background, sounds like a different issue - have no idea what that would be... > > Mike - thanks, I will look through my CSS sheet but I am running the > same sheet on a page with the GE plugin and the pngs show up with the > proper colors/transparencies. The Plugin uses its own rendering functionality - and as such is unaffected by CSS.
