Hi all, This is probably only a one part question for now, but it is tied to a bigger project. I am looking for a way to use the distance measurement tool with one fixed point on a map and one user-entered point. First part is what is the best method for setting up something like this?
The second would be the cleanest method to store this point (assuming a fixed start point as a constant for all submissions looking at the same map--where there would potentially be a number of different maps to submit this type of data for) and then be able to later retrieve and display either single instances or a number of them at once. We would not need to see the distance path, but just the end points and then have them be clickable (or mouse-over) to show distance and additional stored info. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. -m -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
