Thanks in advance for any help. Attemping to have a custom GEvent in an open Infowindow that will trigger a function to 1. Close the open Infowindow 2. Zoom to 15 3. Pan to the center of the polygon that had the infowindow open The custom GEvent is discussed by Mike Williams at http://econym.org.uk/gmap/events.htm and he gives a great example at http://econym.org.uk/gmap/example_events.htm I have tried to modify it so it will work with my polgon infowindows. What Happens: When I click on the words "Click here to go...." in the Infowindow, it looks like all the actions I want to have happen work with the exception of moving to the center of the polygon with the infowindow open. It pans to the last polygon created instead. I'm sure I have something in the the wrong place but I can't see it. I keep being centered to the last polygon created. If you want to see it in action ... go to my link. you will see th map with blue polygons on it. The polygon closeest to the bottom is called Harbourfront if you click it an infowindow will open. click on the words "clcik here.... and you will see what happens, The only other polygon that has the "click here" is the far right polygon called "the beaches" both of these will take you to zoom 15 in the center of the same polygon. This is very much a work in progress so please excuse the mess. The code I used is at lines: 31 and 89 href="javascript:zoominNBRHD()" 258 - the function triggering a "zoom" event on the polygon neighbourhood 351 - Add listener for zoom to neighbourhood -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
