Well, I'm using Prototype anyway. I already written about a thousand line of code with it, so I cannot stop using it now. As far as I'm concerned, Prototype has reduced by a fair amount the lines of code of my app, cleans up and structures my code into an understandable one and handles quite smoothly my AJAX communication. I admit I didn't dig out in the guts of Prototype to know exactly how it works, nevertheless I keep thinking it has its advantages. My question question was rather to know if there is a possibility to use it for the very specific purpose I mentioned above, that is, to implement the GOverlay interface. As far as I can see, the answer is no, but maybe someone here has a workaround. Still, thanks for your answer and your time.
