There's no satellite image update timetable because (1) Google really 
don't like announcing tibetables and (2) it depends on the release of 
large image sets from their suppliers, which can be several years apart, 
and the amount of cloud in your location. If it happened to be cloudy at 
your location when the large image set was captured, then Google may 
well continue to use the old image for a few more years.
