Thanks Barry for your reply. Do you know if instead somehow use <styleUrl> in the NetworkLink file (http://~~EXTERNAL-URL~~~/R17_1.kml) that ref a style set in http://~~EXTERNAL-URL~~~/AddRoutes.kml level (parent level i guess..)?
