I have a question about the overview I get when I enter a serch term in Google Maps. You see an overview of relevant locations at once, and just the first 10 are highlighted by a marker with a character. I am interested how Gooogle implemented this. I see that the small dots are included as a separate PNG layer, but I don't get how you make them click, because there is no specific listener.
Is there a framework for a server side language to implement something like that? Is there a framework for Google Maps API (client)?
