You need to have timeouts *between* your geocoder requests. What you're doing is creating lots of 100ms timeouts at once, setting them to trigger 100ms from "now". Nothing happens for 1/10th of a second, then your timers suddenly all go off and you send lots of geocoder requests simultaneously.
