Because you haven't supplied it here: <!-- add your map api key here --> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://maps.google.com/maps? file=api&v=2&key="></script> (lines 175-176 as delivered) BUT since you have correctly used the AJAX loader you get a map; so I reckon you can remove the call I've quoted entirely.
