GLatLngBounds() should be given the SW corner and the NE corner, in
that order. That one appears to do that, but your "accessible" map
doesn't:
  var boundaries = new GLatLngBounds(new GLatLng
(50.470952,-120.164645), new GLatLng(50.870952,-120.564645));
Why not just copy the code?

Presumably Google won't be able to either, so it won't be able to
create the GGroundOverlay anyway.
