Hi,
the recent addition of parcel boundary lines to Google Map views in
many areas of the US is very cool.. But hmmm...how can we leverage
this data with the API?

Given local municipalities are providing the underlying GIS (ESRI, or
small world, etc) based parcel data, and Google is drawing the gray
parcel boundary lines on the parcel map, the underlying data is on the
Google server. I'd like to be able to calculate boundary area's,
retrieve the parcel number, get a parcel centroid lat-long, etc,
etc.

Does Google plan to make this parcel data available through the API?

thanks in advance
