Rossko, a. > > You are requesting API version 2.84 ..... b. > > You won't be getting it since 2.140 is the oldest available ...; but that doesn't support getMaxZoomAtLatLng() either
a. Now that I have read http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/#API_Updates , I see that I should not specify an exact version (like 2.84) but instead just say v=2 or v=2.s. So, I changed mine to v=2.s. (Is that what you'd recommend?) b. Aha... Is the versioning scheme such that "140" is greater than "84" (when viewed as if whole numbers)? I found "2.158" in the docs as the version that introduced getMaxZoomAtLatLng. I have not been able to find where the "latest av avilable version" is noted or when "2.158" will become available. (And if it is not yet available/ functional, why would there be a few sites that show the example that is supposed to illustrate it.) Confused and looking forward to insights Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
