Well, the only thing i was concerned about was createPolygon function rendering the map very slow in IE. the showBuildingInfo() and all other functions are working fine but to make the code simple for you to review i removed most of my functions and kept only the part which is slow. However, i have now added them back with simple test functions to make it error free. Please do check. >>Your polygons are invisible because you've set the opacity to zero. Yes, initially i have the set the opacity of polygon to zero instead of hiding the polygons and when you click on "show buildings" under Buildings menu, i wrote a function to increase the opacity and make it visible and vice-versa. And in IE you can see those polygons appearing on the map only after a minute when you click on "show buildings" link. For you to better understand the functionality of my map , I suggest you to use firefox. >> You're plotting 170 clickable polys, it is never going to be fast. Firefox can pretty much render all those information and is fast, i only needed a solution for IE to function the same way as firefox does. So what do you suggest? Do you suggest that i dont create polygons at all? Although i know google already have building tiles but for other reasons i needed to create building polygons. Please do let me know Thanks On Mon, Dec 7, 2009 at 4:27 PM, Rossko <[email protected]> wrote: > > The polygons are appearing.
