I believe that the legal position in many countries is that it is legal 
to use moderate amounts of copyright material for bona fide educational 
purposes. So if you've not signed up for an API key, you're probably OK, 
but do check the details of copyright law in your country.

If you have signed up for a key, then you will have agreed to the Terms 
and might possibly be considered to have waived your right to fair use 
of the copyright material.
