I have now included a link to a site which replicates my problem.

As this site is in development and taking advice on things I will need
to change to remain compliant I will make changes once issue resolved,
I do not wish to do so if I will remain in breach of Terms and cannot
therefore use Google Maps or find that the functionality doesn't
support what I am look for and end up using something other than
Google Maps.

I have created a slimmed down site.
http://tinyurl.com/yb9cfqx
If you wish to connect and see the problem you will need the user name
of guest and the password of p...@ssword

On entering click on Maps, then click on search. I have already added
in a fake reference.
Once data is retrieved, click the hyperlink on the reference in the
table below.

This will open the map with a fixed location of randomly chosen
numbers and happens to be somewhere in London.

If you are using IE7 or IE8 you will not see the map, my question is
why?

Please note I do not care about the prompt warning of secure and
unsecure data, this is not my complaint. I just want IE to behave like
Chrome and Firefox and display the map, even once it has displayed the
warning. One of my colleagues is advising me that this was working
last week. I have taken a copy of the site from the previous week and
I have the same issue so cannot confirm if this was the case.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to try and see what is wrong.
