I'm loading a KML file that contains an image which is overlaid on the
map.

This works fine.

But every now and then, the Map control refuses to load the image
specified in the KML file.

Using a proxy tool I can see my KML file being read and parsed
properly by
http://maps.google.com/gx?q=URL_TO_MY_KML file.

I can see in the return JSON that my image paths are all correct.

But... the Google Map control DOESN'T issue a request for the file.
And I'm also not seeing any error messages.

The last time this happened a few months ago, after a few hours the
overlays started loading again, but this time it's been 4 hours now
and I'm still not seeing my overlays.

I'm not doing any Geocoding, unless KML loading falls under that?

Can anyone tell me what's wrong?
