The operating system is less important than the capabilities of the browser. There are, I believe, no browsers for Windows Mobile which can cope with the complexity of the API scripting and DOM. The best is Opera Mini, and that has severe difficulty. Mobile IE is a non- starter; Firefox Mobile isn't really a Windows app yet, although Mozilla seem confident that it will run anything its big brother can. The Google Maps application is just that: an application that allows you to view maps and get directions on your phone -- and if it's GPS- enabled you can plot your own location too. It doesn't allow you to visit websites which use maps. You need a browser for that (see above). Andrew
