I am considering developing an iPhone app that ideally would cache
Google map images in advance and in anticipation (when connected) of
long periods where there would be NO Wifi, EDGE, 3GS, or locations
services (e.g. airplane mode).

Does Google's terms of service allow temporary caching (on a user's
device) a series of map images obtained when when the device IS
connected?

Thanks.

(I'm not even sure that scraping the maps delivered to an iPhone while
connected is even possible - if not, no app).
