Not with GGeoXml.
GGeoXml sends the URL of the KML file to a Google server. The Google
server uses that URL to read the data and returns details of the
individual overlays back to your client. The Google server doesn't have
permission to read files from your hard disk.
Third party KML renderers (GeoXml and EGeoXml) parse the KML in client
code, so they can work with a local file.
I need to use this method as i cannot make the
data publicly available.
Do check the Terms. It sounds like you might need to buy a Premier
Licence.
