Hi, I have got it working. I guess I had changed things so many times I wiped out a }. Amazing how a fresh set of eyes helps. I also had an i where there should have been an a. That fixed I had a map and all the markers showing so could see what you meant about the else part. Added poly.hide(); then everything worked. I nearly fell off my chair in shock after all the hours I have spent on this. So, I would like to thank you very much for taking the time to help me. This certainly has been an education and there are people out there doing some amazing things with maps. For those like me, just learning, this is the link to the working page
