Here's my current map - a work in progress: http://www.xmxpro.com/Catalog-map/catalog-map.htm
I am at the point where some decisions need to be made before adding any more markers! I've gotten this far with a lot of great help from this forum - thanks to all who have helped! Is it possible to have a single marker assigned to more than one category? I have looked at the Marker Categories tutorial (Part 25) and know I can put the markers into categories. My problem is some of the markers would be in more than one category. For example, the categories would be: ATV 4x4 Motorcycle However, a particular marker (location) may be suitable for ATVs AND motorcycles so that would mean I would need the three above categories plus: ATV and 4x4 ATV and motorcycle 4x4 and Motorcycle So how would I put that in my XML file? If a marker can not be assigned to more than one category, could I create a marker category called ATVMotorcyle? If so, when a user clicks on the ATV check box, would it pick up the category of ATVMotorcycle? My preferred method would be to list the categories applicable for each marker, for example: category="ATV" category="Motorcycle" Thanks for any guidance on this! paulp575 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
