It might be awesome, but it would contravene the Terms of Use of the
Googlebar: http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxsearch/terms.html
See 1.4: you must display the results as they are returned to you.

However, if all you're doing is geocoding a city or country, you don't
need to use that at all and can simply use the Geocoder.
http://econym.org.uk/gmap/geo.htm The geocoder doesn't need to have
its results displayed textually, just placed on the map, but it won't
work if you're finding a business name. You couldn't search for
"generator, berlin" and get the meaningful results you do with the
Googlebar.
