The geocoder finds addresses, not buildings or businesses (some, like
the Empire State Building, _might_ be there, but it is certainly the
exception, not the rule).  If you know where they are, you can store
them in a database and search that.  If you don't know where they are
and need to search for them, you can look into the local search API:
http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxsearch/local.html

It might meet your needs.
