There is no such thing as exact driving distance between UK postcodes because UK postcodes do not usually identify a point, they usually identify a group of premises. In addition, the Google Maps API approximates the postcode by truncating it: "PO1 1AA" is treated as the centroid of "PO1 1" sector, as is any code starting with "PO1 1". The Terms of Service require you to show the results in conjunction with a map (or a directions panel), as that includes the copyright data.
