Try pointing your browser at the xml.
I see 2 issues:
1. IE doesn't recognize it as xml, probably because it has the wrong
content type:
Content-Type:·text/html;·charset=utf-8(CR)(LF)

2. you have invalid characters in your text (marker 14's text contains
an ampersand):
