This I find interesting. I can have paths, or markers but not both because one is avaliable at one URL, the other at another URL.
Example: Use this code for BOTH of the following URLs: size=512x512&indexing=false&format=gif&maptype=roadmap&sensor=false&path=rgb: 0x000000|39.704703,-104.885683|39.670892,-104.885683| 39.670892,-104.885683|39.670892,-104.790922|39.670892,-104.790922| 39.704703,-104.790922|39.704703,-104.790922|39.704703,-104.660578| 39.704703,-104.660578|39.565719,-104.660578|39.565719,-104.660578| 39.565719,-104.383333|39.565719,-104.383333|40,-104.383333| 40,-104.383333|40,-104.770931|40,-104.770931|39.856233,-104.770931| 39.856233,-104.770931|39.856233,-104.885683|39.856233,-104.885683| 39.704703,-104.885683&path=rgb:0x0000ff|39.704703,-104.885683| 39.704703,-104.9223|39.704703,-104.9223|39.670892,-104.9223| 39.670892,-104.9223|39.670892,-104.885683&markers=color:blue|label:S| 39.747055,-104.844689|39.7255,-104.812531|39.741944,-104.868828| 39.707555,-104.224403|39.675044,-104.805333|39.706455,-104.876847| 39.702855,-104.829989|39.672655,-104.793669| 39.672655,-104.829803&indexing=false Now, if you use this with: http://maps.google.com/staticmap? you get the path if you use this: http://maps.google.com/maps/api/staticmap? you get the markers. I guess you want to know WHY I don't use enc. Well, it seems you need a key (no examples in the API manual to be sure, but all the examples I have found use one) and I don't want to register for one (and the reason has to be a mystery...sorry).. If you can encode the path WITHOUT a key, show me since I can't find an example of how to do this. Of course this is my first 12 hours of doing any kind of map code so give me a break. :) Have fun. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
