Dear all, I want a way to generate the html code of a certain map to which I've added some icons and lines. The task I am working on is basically displaying the different cities within a certain trip and showing icons representing the used transportation methods. But, I want to save a URL directly to the map in the database, i.e. the following scenario should happend: - The user selects the cities and the used transportation methods - The user clicks the submit button, the map is composed based on the selected cities and methods. - A direct URL for the map is saved in the database so that it can viewed when browsing the trip's details.
I already found this option on the GMaps interface, that one can copy the html code and embed it in his website. But I don't know how to do this from the code.
