Andrew, Reading document and executing sometimes does not give you the result, but with experience you people have will be knowing the mistakes beginners make. i.e. the reason we keep asking questions like this.
Anyway setCenter does not reset the point to center have been trying it. Have not tried setLatLng or getLatLng will try it.
