Html errors sometimes result to weird error reports with IE. You have
some mismatching <div> </div> tags.

I second Larry's suggestion about IE7 compatibility mode <meta> tag.
maps.google.com has one and so does Bing Maps. However Bing Maps do
not follow Microsoft's recommendation that the meta tag should be
placed before any other tags. There are script and style tags before
their meta tag:)
