How did you create the kmz file? I think this is something to do with the KML style information, however I don't seem to be able to open the KMZ to view the parameters in my text editor. Maybe try and save each of the polygons/polylines in google earth as a KML file and load them separately? It's not the most elegant solution but I'd have thought this would work?
