Hello, I hope this is an appropriate question for this group. I have tried to search everywhere, but no luck.
I run a site in Joomla 1.5.13 and have been using the Google Maps API for some time. Recently, I was looking into speeding up my site by enabling a plug-in that will compress CSS and JS files for faster loading. When this plug-in is enabled, I get an error message saying "You need to get a new Google Maps API for this site." I am assuming that the plug-in is attempting to "double compress" the Google Maps javascript? When I turn the plug-in off, everything works just fine. Website: http://indigenouspeoplesissues.com There is a field in the plug-in to exclude javascript files. I've tried to find the Google Maps one, but can't seem to find it. I've tried gmapez.js, gmapez-2.5.js, maps.6.js, etc (these are the one's associated with the module that generates the Google Map). No luck. Can anyone tell me what the Google Map javascript is so that I can have it excluded from compression. Or am I just way off. Perhaps I am not understanding something. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
