That derivative work argument could very well be valid. Google might deny me on that alone.
So, do you think the real problem is that I'm selling a PDF with a map or the fact that I'm creating a PDF in the first place? What I will probably end up doing is selling the PDF without the map content and let the user decide to print their own maps. That's insane. But, I guess that's what I have to live with.
