Hey, I want to do an economics research project where changes in tax breaks for commuting in Germany are used to analyse labor and housing market changes. These tax breaks depend on the car distance between home and the workplace. Therefore I would like to automatically generate distances between all the municipality combinations where people work and live.
I understand that the Google Maps API terms of use do not allow bulk downloads of such data for commercial use, but would like to know whether there was any possibility to get a special permission for research projects?
