The Google Maps API is a JavaScript system that relies on the browser at the client end to produce a usable map.
There is no real connection between your server and a page made with a Google maps. There are probably numerous extensions that will allow some connectivity to a Google maps API based page through AJAX, but those will all be server side programs that have an XML or KML output.
