My problem: When i search for a route i want to get the information how many kilometers of road are in town, out of town and highway. I hope to get this information out of the Routesteps. If you look at this example: http://econym.org.uk/gmap/example_cartrip.htm you see that the skript returns the speed every 0.01 miles. The animation is nice but i would like to save steps in a table. And only the time and the distance of the step. For example: step no. | duration | meters 1 | 30 | 250 2 | 120 | 2000 and so on.. It would be perfectly good if i had the standard directions of google maps but furthermore the information how long each route-step takes. This table could be returned in a html-table, or the whole skript should run in C#, I found a skript here: http://www.sagecraft-studios.com/2008/11/google-driving-directions-in-c---update.html#comments. In C# i would try to save the table in an array and then export it to a csv-file. Background: I want to load the table in Matlab to work with it, calculate the kilometres in town, highway... Has anyone a handy hint for me? I'm a beginner in Maps Api and in C# and want to learn how to realize such a project with google maps...
