Its explicitly noted that you may cache the results - provided you only allow the use of the coordinates within the API implementation.
So geocode once, and store with your results. Just be prepared to re-geocode every so-often, so that you are only storing the results 'temporally' - and in particular when/if Gmaps changes mapping provider.
