Rossko thank you very much for the reply, this makes alot of sense.
Would you be able to suggest a script I can use to randomly call on
the KML?
here's a line from the script that I use now to pull in the KML:
var gx = new GGeoXml("http://charitywater.org/projects/map/kml/
car.kml");
so it's getting car.kml and that's what's getting cached in Google's
server.
