I checked the example of Marcello, POIs along a route, http://gis5.com/pois_along_route/gm_pois_along_route.php it's really fast and good. I am trying to do something similar for creating some tourist guides for my dissertation. I would like to help me of howi can make the buffer overlay of the routes. I know that you can take all the points of the routes and make two parallel, but the combination of the circles of each node is really hard and i do not think that it can fast enough to be implemented with javascript. So i would like to tell me if it is possible to make the buffer only with javascript or if there is a way to take the points of the route with javascript and use them in another script language in order to create the buffer line. So i would like to suggest me if i can use any other ways in order to create a buffer of the suggested routes that google maps give. Thanx Panos
