Thanks, Andrew, but this pertains only to JSON, not JSONP, nor does it
address the Elevation Service. William's explanation uses GDownloadUrl
for retrieving JSON from his own server. To retrieve JSON from another/
remote server, that server needs to have enabled JSONP (JSON with
Padding), which allows the client to specify a callback function for
handling the results. GDownloadUrl will not work with remote requests,
like calling Google's Elevation Service.

Anybody else have an idea?
