I have taken aerial orthophotos and stitched them together to create a mosaic which fits roughly onto the google maps satellite imagery. I have successfully placed a single orthophoto jpg file onto google maps api, but the mosaic tiff files don't work. I need tiff files because jpgs don't support the transparency and leave a big black outline around the mosaic. I have used the exact same html but switched between jpg and tiff--the first works and the second doesn't. I don't know a lot about this so I would appreciate any advice/suggestions you have.
