Greetings, I have used the v2 API to geocode records in bulk. I am able to geocode most of the addresses except the ones which have special characters like ä and ö etc. I get response code: 400 for these kind of addresses.
Example: http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?q=Verkstadsgatan 18 Växjö, 352 46, Sweden&output=json&key=<key>&sensor=false&oe=utf8&gl=SE (Note: Key value has to be provided in the above example) If I change the address to remove ä and ö characters (by replacing with a and o respectively), I get geocoding response.
