Hi, I have recently noticed that the zoom bar in Australia (and possibly around the world) is no longer able to zoom in as close as it use to.
Take for example this page: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/examples/control-defaultUI-large.html If you zoom out and pan to Sydney, Australia (I know it's a bit of a hassel) and then zoom in as far as you can go, you'll notice it's still at a fairly high level. If you then switch the mode to 'Satellite' and use the other zoom controls to zoom in as far as you can go then switch back to 'Map' mode you'll notice you're actually in a lot further in than before. If you then start to pan around the map you'll notice that the map will automatically zoom out. This behaviour is very strange and it wasn't happening before. Any ideas as to why this has started to happen? Any ideas on workarounds to this?
