Hello, I have experience of embedding Google Maps into web-pages and extensive programming experience.
I have created a web-page that uses a call to GDownloadUrl with a KML file generated in Google Earth. A sidebar is generated and a check- boxes act as filters on the placemarks. The issue I have is that the code overwrites the icon styles in the KML, but I don't know how to inherit the styleURL from the KML file in the JavaScript code?
