Hi! This post is about the Geocoding API. I am trying to get the long name for the country Ukraine (among others) in several languages, given its ccTLD. This is the URL that I am using:
http://maps.google.com/maps/api/geocode/json?language=en&sensor=false&address=ua®ion=ua The strange thing is that this URL returns one result with "United States" in it, and the same happens when the requested language is 'es', 'fr', 'it' or 'de', BUT it seems to work fine for every other language, returning Ukraine's data as the only result.
