It's not your webpage code ; you can paste the GPX url http://www.phased.co.uk/GBBR/retrieve-gpx.php into maps.google.com searchbox and see the same effect. It's your GPX generation ; examine the GPX returned by pastingthe URL directly in your browser, and you can see that Wiltshire and Rhayader share the same starting points, 2nd point, etc etc. I guess it's a dynamic GPX from a php script ; I'd further guess that it outputs each track section from an array of points, and your array is not being cleared down between track enumerations.
