Yes. It's *far* easier to get a browser to do the debugging than
trying to follow code by eye.
It should be this:
onload="createoffsetMap('mapOffsetdiv');"
because what you are doing is passing the name of the map element.
Once the //commented line is restored you'll get a marker offset
diagonally down and right.
